LeoVince LV ONE EVO Stainless Steel | Full System - SMC-R (2021)

Has anyone on the forum tried the Leo Vince full exhaust. The additional "barrel" solution is often used on 4-stroke motocross engines, but I've never seen it applied to the KTM 690 engine. The silencer is still 370 mm long, while the two-piece manifold seems about 5 cm shorter than the original. The manifold and silencer connection seems more linear.

I asked Leo Vince directly for information. The resonator seems to give real advantages. They sent me a power and torque diagram of the bike with the original silencer and original manifold and the Leo Vince manifold with resonator and original silencer.

They also told me that they have shortened the slip-on manifold on the 2021 model for aesthetic reasons. In this way the terminal is positioned as the original terminal. When redesigning the manifold they were able to shorten it even more for aesthetic reasons.

This seems like a very interesting project.

I have installed the exhaust . Fits perfectly . It is very well designed. Everything is adhered to the frame of the bike without interfering with anything.

I was able to test both the full exhaust and the slip on only Leo Vince. The performance obtained with the full version is better.

Considering also the aesthetic aspect (personally I find more beautiful the full version) the ease and precision of installation (no problem with full version, while I had many difficulties to install correctly the slip on only) I recommend the full exhaust.

I would like to point out that I have removed the catalytic converter on both and that to remove it you need to remove the welding points.

I report the dyno test digram. I would like to remind you that the performances have been obtained modifying the intake with MRW filter and adjusting correctly the carburation.

Blue curve full exhaust , red curve only slip on with original manifold . For comparison of the two exhausts do not take into account the green curve. I have no idea of the results that can be obtained without making any modification to the bike.

Ich konnte sowohl den vollen Auspuff als auch den nur aufgesteckten Leo Vince testen. Die Leistung mit der Vollversion erhalten ist besser.

In Anbetracht auch der ästhetische Aspekt (persönlich finde ich schöner die Vollversion) die Leichtigkeit und Präzision der Installation (kein Problem mit Vollversion, während ich viele Schwierigkeiten hatte, richtig zu installieren, die nur Slip-on) empfehle ich die volle Auspuff.

Ich möchte darauf hinweisen, dass ich bei beiden den Katalysator entfernt habe und dass man zum Entfernen die Schweißpunkte entfernen muss.

He had tried this manifold both with completely original bike and now with his kit. In both cases it did not give an improvement in performance.

Following Pirate Racing's test of the Leo Vince manifold with resonator, I wanted to test the Leo Vince slip-on with the original manifold.

Optimizing the carburetion on both configurations, the one with the full exhaust is the most performing. These are not sensations but data found on the same bike and the same dyno.

I agree that the differences are not abysmal and that the slip-on only provides very good performance.

However, taking into account the aesthetics and precision of installation, I suggest the full version.

To install the slip-on only I made a thousand attempts to find an acceptable position for the silencer and in any case the spring always touched the exhaust. The full exhaust was much easier to install.

Nach dem Test des Leo Vince Krümmers mit Resonator durch Pirate Racing wollte ich den Leo Vince Slip-on mit dem Originalkrümmer testen.

Die Optimierung der Vergaser auf beiden Konfigurationen, die eine mit dem vollen Auspuff ist die leistungsstärkste. Dies sind keine Empfindungen, sondern Daten, die auf demselben Motorrad und demselben Prüfstand ermittelt wurden.

Ich stimme zu, dass die Unterschiede nicht abgrundtief sind und dass der Slip-on nur eine sehr gute Leistung bringt.

In Anbetracht der Ästhetik und der Präzision der Installation empfehle ich jedoch die Vollversion.

Bei der Montage des Slip-on habe ich tausend Versuche unternommen, um eine akzeptable Position für den Schalldämpfer zu finden, und die Feder berührte immer den Auspuff. Der volle Auspuff war viel einfacher zu montieren.
