when i talk about the hard construction i am talking about the flex in the tyre and how it copes with bumps. because the pirellis dont flex as much i dont seem to have grip or feel i want and have had from the dunlops
light bikes are always hard to set up because they "feel" every bump
the suspension is there to keep the tyres in contact with the road by moving up and down as needed the tyre plays a part. as the pirellis are not flexing as much i need to reduce the compression damping and tyre pressures
on the rear i can reduce the high speed compression damping but not on the front . i have now got to the comfort setting for compression on the front and it is much better on the rear i have the high speed compression out 2.5 turns again better
with the recomended pressures 2/2.2 bar and the sport suspension set up i have used for a long time, the front and rear would slide and tuck on turn in
i dont think that the rosso 2 suit the bike or the way i ride, but thats only my opinion ( i didnt like the metzelers m3s) so for me its back to dunlops asap
i know about the uk forum but you all seem to be a bit more "grown up" and its good for my german
sorry i didnt have 4 hours to write this in german as i said my german is shit
