By the way, I'm looking for the dimension of the underseat storage (width x length x depth), any idea where I can find this information?
I'm trying to find out if my disklock would fit there.
Well I don't know the guy but I can still ask him on the french board...
One question about the video: Do you know if the dB-Killer was installed? It sounds more like a muffler without dB-Killer...
You're right, there is no db killer on the video. But the guy says that it's way to loud and that he will put the db killer back on ;)
Hi there,
A quick post to share some pictures of the bike with the Fresco bypass that I just found on a french board. The guy also posted a (crappy) vidéo: http://youtu.be/DuYo8RLqTZ0
Looks nice but with the original mapping the engine sometimes shuts off while driving!
(if a plastics part could have cancer, it would look like the original plate holder...the
designer must be totally drunken!)
Ha ha exactly
I'm pretty sure it's deliberately ugly so people have no other choice than to buy the optional plate holder...
to 1. yes it is more comfortable as the standard seat. You have more place for "active" riding.
No it´s not a GEL seat.
In my opinion it's as comfortable as the standard seat, but it looks much better!!!
No gel, that's right...
Besides that you will sit a little bit higher (approx. 2 cm) and not so "fixed" which allows
a more "active riding" as DukePower68 wrote in his posting. All together I would highly
recommend to buy the Powerparts seat!
Thank you for the answers I guess it's a good option to buy if I want to preserve myon a long roadtrip
to 2. yes you must remove those. you can´t mount the passenger handle when you use the short licence plate holder. it is a construing error by KTM.
That's a shame... And it's quite expensive! Is there any third party plate holder available somewhere?
Hello all,
Sorry for writing in english but I'm french and I don't speak german
I'm thinking of buying the new duke 690 but it's hard to find information on the french boards... I have some questions about the powerparts, I hope you will be able to help me :)
- Regarding the powerparts seat (760.07.940.000), is it more comfortable that the standard seat? Does it contain some gel? I'm asking because I read that it is firmer than the standard... Maybe it only improves the riding position?
- Regarding the short license plate holder (760.08.915.044), is it necessary to remove the passenger handle to mount it?
Thank you!
PS: I really enjoy all the pictures posted here
