Hermann and Robraab are two brothers each owning a 690 SMC. As you may imagine the competition between them is pretty tough.

that's a good way to get good results quick ;)

could you please show us those HERMANN graphs with A/F graphs?
I presume the A/F ratio was the graph you studied most so I'm curious what you accomplished and what to expect.

the basis is always the bike in the condition as it comes to me at the dyno. My job is then to find the best performance possible.

Regarding the graphs, I have posted for you, these all have been recorded at a 690 SMC which has been supplied with an open Acra-Slip On without EC-homologation and the Acra-map inside the KTM-ECU.

The red graph represents that stock KTM-tune as basis for my further improvements on the dyno.

ok... so the HERMANN.D03 (blue) graph is smc & akra slip-on & akra map, as many of us have, the HERMANN.D012 graph (red) is the same bike with your collective wisdom.
and if you compare this HERMANN.D12 with RODRAAB.D27 you see the difference between a SMC with standard exhaust and a SMC with Akra exhaust, both with Kastl?

Just like to be sure what I see and communicate with others....

(i know it's best to compare the same bike and the results are bike specific)

Sorry, Ranx, I thought the graphs are self-explaining by all the story before.

The red one is all stock, the green one is that without air box lid, but stock fuel delivery, the highest graph is created by the "Kastl".

    Highscore

    thanks highscore...

did you do runs like the three I mention?
I guess many of us SMC riders ride with an akra (full or slip-on) and akra mapping.
I really would like to know what improvements the removal of the airbox lid and Kastl brings to that situation.

    Highscore,

I appreciate your effort, but sometimes I don't get enough information to be completely happy :grins:
You mention the graphs, but sadly the titel-column is not wide enough to be sure which colour represents what.

    My guess now:
Green: 690SMC with akra slip-on and akra map.
Red: 690SMC with akra slip-on, akra map and removed air-box lid.
Blue: 690SMC with akra slip-on, akra map, removed air-box lid and KASTL (tm)

    right?

thanks very much highscore, that's a lot clearer!

that red graph looks very good, very tempting.

any idea if there is a big difference between full akra and slip-on?

    I'll be back... ;)

Sounds all very interesting Highscore. :respekt:

Any chance to see the 'advert' :grins: in English? Or is there a website?
I get somewhat puzzled by the graphs, not sure which is the result-graph and which to ignore (don't want to ride without db-eater)
And my knowledge of the German language is too bad to rely on.

In return I'll promote your English version anywhere I can :ja:

Habe die Anregung von highscore umgesetzt und den Luftfilterdeckel entfernt. Es wurden keine weiteren Änderungen durchgeführt.
Laut Aussagen des Werkstattmeisters kann er ein zu mageres Laufen nicht feststellen. Sie wäre im originalen Zustand sogar zu fett gelaufen.

sorry for my english... but no AF line?
and this is with standard exhaust and mapping?
