Mein Deutsch is nicht so güt, so am English: Wanted to share this for others who want to get the DB killer out without drilling the rivets.
- Remove silencer from Duke (1x 13mm bolt and needle nose pliers to remove the two springs)
- Remove rubber cap or drill the carbon (use masking tape to prevent slipping)
- Use 8mm socket on an extension
- Put double sided tape (special strong) on the top and inside of the socket
- Insert socket, press firmly so the tape can stick and then unscrew. Works best with new exhaust.
- If the screw is out, use a broomstick to gently tap the db killer out
I am planning to install the 38mm db killer from eBay, I would not recommend to drive without any dbkiller (way too loud for your ears and others).
