Brembo Master Cylinder 19x18 upgrade? Anybody done this?

    I think the brakes are a bit spongy on the SDGT. I'm changing pads to the sintered Galfers and I'll see how that goes (or stops). But I'd like more brake feel and pressure. Wondering who's tried the Brembo Master Cylinder upgrade to the 19x18 and what your experience is? Its almost $ 600 USD so I'd like to be sure it makes a pretty big improvement in braking. Thanks

    Hi, I use the Brembo RCS 19 with the Galfer Sinter Pads and the OEM Disks for one year now, 3 Racetrack Weekends included. With the Upgrade you will get a accurate pressure point, but you need more strength to recieve the same braking force. My personal impression is that the additional strenght now directly goes into brake force and not into a "spongy" pressure point.

    Ich nutze die RCS 17 Pumpe mit Braking P1R Pads und bin damit voll zufrieden. Guter Druckpunkt mit relativ wenig Handkraft (ich bremse allerdings mit drei Fingern).
