Hello all, and firstly apologies for writing in English! It's been a while since I came here last but I never left KTM "club". To be honest I was expecting this year to leave the club but the bike I was expecting to like was a disappointment (Ducati Hypermotard, awful fuelling ) and the bike I didn't expect to like I ended up buying after a ride or two on Duke IV. So I bought a R and sold my 2010 690 R.

If anyone can spare the time to answer a couple of questions it would be greatly appreciated. Has anyone fitted a European Junior Cup replica bellypan to a road Duke? Are there any fitment issues around the side stand or the exhaust area. I have the standard R exhaust, so normal collector box and the the after market Akra pipe and slip on. The avatar of Marius60 looks like a road Duke R + EJC belly pan.

And does the 1190 Adv R dongle work on the Duke 690 R to control the ABS (leave front on and remove rear ABS)?

Apologies for posting in English and sorry if this is in the wrong section but I just wanted to say HI! and wish you all a Happy New Year and safe riding for 2009. I've changed my ride from a 2005 950SM (managed 19k miles which is a lot for me) and now have a Duke 690 . As I haven't seen many pictures of the 2009 black Duke I thought these might be of interest.

Has anyone else noticed the recent change to the Sommer website, is everything OK with them? I have asked them for a price for a Gangsensor for my Duke but am still waiting (I did ask over the holiday period), I have the high seat and rad cover for my bike already. Thinking back to my 950, many strong tips and tweaks came from owners here (Pretenders' screen after which KTM started making screens for their bikes , PP2CT tyres etc.). Are there any tips for the Duke 690 from owners here please?

Sorry for the confusion, I caused it myself by my original question - The Duke 1 & 2 don't have handguards as standard and the part numbers I quoted were Sommer's numbers not the KTM part number. So the ones that Sommer sell for the D1 and D2, and other models, are the same as the ones Sumowoody posted...

Wished I'd kept the ones I had on my D1

Apologies for posting in English, but you guys have the most active 950SM forum on the net I think.

Can anyone confirm that the standard KTM Duke I & II handguards fit the 950SM without any modification?
[Part number Schwarz [12402] Orange [12683]].
