Black Duke pictures, Sommer change and Duke 690 questions?

    Hi all


    Apologies for posting in English and sorry if this is in the wrong section but I just wanted to say HI! and wish you all a Happy New Year and safe riding for 2009. I've changed my ride from a 2005 950SM (managed 19k miles which is a lot for me) and now have a Duke 690 :Daumen hoch: . As I haven't seen many pictures of the 2009 black Duke I thought these might be of interest.





    Has anyone else noticed the recent change to the Sommer website, is everything OK with them? I have asked them for a price for a Gangsensor for my Duke but am still waiting (I did ask over the holiday period), I have the high seat and rad cover for my bike already. Thinking back to my 950, many strong tips and tweaks came from owners here (Pretenders' screen after which KTM started making screens for their bikes :applaus:, PP2CT tyres etc.). Are there any tips for the Duke 690 from owners here please?

    Hi Bunter,


    search for "highscore kastl" and 690SM. The mod. is the same on the Duke III. (690SMC is different)
    Highscore uses a K&N Filter instead of the airbox and his "Kastl" to change fuel ratio.
    Now you can use the airbox as a luchbox. :prost:

    Thanks Pretender, the Highscore modifications looks very impressive, although it looks beyond my capabilities to fit it though. And I have now heard back from Team West :Daumen hoch: .
