Ich nehme das vorher genannte Praxisbeispiel mal als Ansatz für eine kleine Rechnerei.
Wie hoch der Lastwiderstand parallel zur LED sein muss damit man auf das gleiche Leistungsniveau kommt wenn man eine 55W H4 mit einer 6W LED ersetzen will lässt sich leicht berechnen.
Widerstand H4 = (14V)^2 / 55 Watt = 3,6 Ohm
Widerstand LED = (14V)^2 / 6 Watt = 33 Ohm
Stromaufnahme H4 = 14V / 3,6 Ohm = 3,9 A
Stromaufnahme LED = 14V / 33 Ohm = 0,42 A
Das heisst der parallele Lastwiderstand muss ca 3.5 A (bzw 49 W) „in Hitze verbraten“ (3,9A– 0,42A).
Daraus resultiert ein nötiger Lastwiderstand von RL = 14V / 3,5A = 4 Ohm
