Chain noice

    hi, i just bought a 1290 super adventure and I am very disappointed about the chain noises,
    if some one knows how to avoid noises or even with an aftermarket parts.
    its a shame to spend 20,000 euros on a bike and have that isues.

    Have a look for the same issue on the 1190 Adventure. Mostly it seems to be a problem of a misadjusted chain tension.


    To weak or to strong adjusted, or maybe also a bit too dry.

    Das ist genau der Punkt, sie reagiert mit Klappern auf eine unkorrekte Kettenspannung. Hatte meine 1190 bei Auslieferung vom Händler auch, korrekt nach Handbuch einstellen und es ist Ruhe.

    hi.
    thanks for the respond ,but i have sprayed the chain with motorex chain lubricant adjust it correctly and its very noise when the road is not so smooth.
    the sound is like driving an enduro bike in the gravel and the tensioner is loose.
