No, the original muffler has no DB killer.
Due to the compact design of the IXrace MK2, two DB killers were needed to reduce the DB values.
I even measured a much higher output without a muffler.
The collector and catalyst already generates enough back pressure for the engine to run well.

And that's why all the small end mufflers with big DB-Killers on the 790 Duke cause power loss.
The length of the mufflers also plays a role.
And if you had read this topic carefully, you would know that there was also an IXrace version with a more open DB killer.
So please do not confuse people here if you have not taken your own measurements on the Dyno.
It's not a secret that a big DB killer swallows performance.
Akrapovic only works so well with the DB-Killer because they've built a much larger muffler and a larger pipe diameter.
Conclusion: Yes, the engine needs back pressure, but not 3 times more than Original.
PS an uns: Bitte überlegt mal genau, wenn der Originale Schalldämpfer keinen DB-Killer hat, kann es einfach nicht sein, das ein anderer Auspuff mit 2 DB-Killern ordentlich funktioniert.
Und wenn der IXrace in der ersten Version, die raus kam, einen viel offeneren DB-Killer hatte, wird das wohl auch seinen Grund gehabt haben
