Mehrere Fragen zur KTM 690 SMC-R

Bin auch grad bei der gleichen Entscheidung... Aber offen! Kurze frage... Wenn ich mich kurz einklinken darf!
Folgende kaufkriterien:
- alltagstauglich, für zum arbeiten fahren,
- mal kurz Spaß haben u nach Feierabend durchs Hinterland fahren
- Zuverlässigkeit ohne große schraubaktionen, Verlass mich da aufs 10000 ter kundendienstintervall d.h. Draufsitzen u fahren
- bedingte tourentauglichkeit d.h. Max 300-400 km nach italy oder so

Bin ich da bei der smc an der richtigen Adresse? Ich find die smc halt optisch der Hammer u hab kein Bock auf 180 ps oder so!

Can someone explain me when comparing the smc-r vs the enduro: what are the greatest differences?
According to the ktm website, front fork and shock should be the same but is the valving different or not?

+ does anybody know if the smcr/enduro MY 2014 will have the actual Duke 4 engine and ABS?

the main difference is the operational area, enduro more offroad, smc(-r) onroad. according to this, there are differences at the
* suspention setup (front fork @ enduro WP Suspension 4860 D48/26 MA, @ smc-r WP Suspension Up Side Down 4860 ROMA)
* the (front) brake (300mm enduro vs 320mm smc)
* the gear transmission ratio (lower gear transmission at the enduro)
* of course the wheels
* 1cm more clearance height at the enduro
* 2cm more seat height at the enduro
...

in my opinion the only difference is where you would ride each bike..
or do you have anything special in mind?

@ smcr/enduro MY 2014 i don't know any changes.. there should be a dealer meeting with ktm's headquater in september (i think) every year to talk about model updates, if there are any changes for 2014, then your dealer should know about it after that.

Actually i have the D4 690 MY 2012. Bought it new last year;i changed the OEM seat for the PP seat and put the PP engine dresser bars on.
Engine,exhaust,mapping,..is 100% stock and in 8000km i didn't have one single problem or warranty case.
From what i read here on the forum, there seems to be more problems with the smcr/enduro engine?
I'm preparing a trip to Morocco and Iceland next year; the D4 doen't offer enough luggage options therefore... I only asked the question because i didn't understand why the price of both bikes is equal when the smcr offers bigger/better brakes,nicer wheels,the CNC tripleclamp. At the same price,i thought maybe the enduro also has some special parts.

Kommt auf das verbaute Heck und Blinker an.

Auf meiner Ex- 2013er SMC-R hatte ich das US-Sportheck mit Kellermann Rhombus Dark dran. Paßte perfekt!
Keine Probleme mit schmilzenden Blinkern o.ä..

Meine neue 2013er SMC-R bekommt ein kürzeres aus Metal, k.A. welches dat is, ebenfalls mit Kellermann Rhombus Dark.

BTW - ich habe da noch günstig 8! Original Blinker günstigst abzugeben... ;)

Hab den Romatech und Kellermänner rhombus dark passt auch und es schmilzt nix mit dem akra
