Das "Bltzen" gibt es auch bei der 1050 serienmäßig.

yes, but perhaps that is built into the ECU as standard as it will probably cost nothing and easily enables non-alarm/immob fitted bikes to be upgraded?
if I remember correctly, the current that is drawn from the battery also drops off just about completely after the flash - so it does seem to indicate the activation/de-activation of something? I'm just guessing....

The flashing occurs when the ECU goes into sleep mode. My Dealer told me that at my early 2013 1190er because the Red light in the Display did not flash and I complained about that.
