Was ist jetzt wirklich an dieser Sache dran!? hier wurde gepostet das es eine neue verbesserte Version von Steuerkettenspanner gibt (77036003200) der dürfte von der 2019er 690er bzw ist er auch in allen 790ern drin!

I'm not too much into these EURO 4 engines but I know that the cam chain tensionner has been updated on the 701s, looks like the part has followed up on the 690s as well ...
I know there was also a recall for the counter masses for the auto decompressor as mentionned in the first page here. But bikes should all have been updated by now?
Some guys with 2017/2018 701s were complaining about the same issues.
Horribles rattling after a pause (either cold or hot so looks like it can't keep up the oil in).
And rattling when hot sometimes.
I know a guy that has gone to the dealer like 4 or 5 times with his 701.
They tried 2 new ones (previous partnumber) etc, they also so tried to reset 2 times ... Never ending story.
After complaining again and again at Husqy France they finally sent a replacement tensionner, updated.
Rattling gone since.
Looking at the partnumber it looks like it comes on 690 SMC R 2019 and 2020 as well, same for the 690 Enduros and the Duke 2019 but I wouldn't be surprised that some early 2019 bikes didn't get it.
Not the first I would see that from KTM. Partsfinder says you should find this part X, you open it, and find the previous partnumber ...
Or the spareparts finder could have been updated afterwards (they do this so when you update it you get the correct one).
Anyway, the previous bikes with the EURO 4 engines therefore never got this updated tensionner.
That's, ALL DUKE models from 2016 to 2018 included.
And all the 701 from 2017 and 2018 (Supermoto, Enduoro, Svartpilen, Vitpilen).

btw this tensionner fits almost every KTM model, since 2007, 1190s, 1050s, 1290s, some EXC models etc, lots of bikes.

Spring must be stronger or better sealing capabilities, don't know ...
Older euro 4 bikes would benefit from a retrofit of the cam chain tensionner I believe.
PS: The 10W50 that KTM / Husqy now want you to pour in these engines doesn't help when the engine's hot, that's one sure thing ... (690 2019 + and all the 701s).
Better be 10W60 at least!
Wenn das alle 690er bis 2016 (euro3) leiser macht wäre es doch ein Hit! hat diesen Spanner noch keiner probiert!? er kostet auch um 20.-euro mehr..
