Hat doch keiner gesagt dass Du den kaufen sollst. Ist doch nur ein Sound Vergleich.

It has been brought to our attention that the V3 mini 140mm can and V3 150mm can options for the KTM 2014-19 and 2020 1290 SDR models have been failing roadside Db testing in certain European counties,

We believe this may be due to the method of roadside testing not being up to the homologation standards or through the use on mis-calibrated testing equipment, however due to this we as a company are removing these options from our homologated can choices with immediate effect until this issue can be rectified as a precaution,

We as a company do not wish to leave our customers in a position where their exhaust system/motorcycle may be falsely impounded and subject to fine when used, as these systems were designed with the sole purpose of road use,

With this in mind we are contacting all customers with pending orders to offer the following choice,

We are happy to exchange your current order for one of the following three options, either the V3 mini 200mm which is the same as the V3 mini only 60mm longer or the V3 200mm/250mm all of which can be seen below, simply reply to this e-mail with your preference so that we may adjust accordingly,

If this solution is not suitable or you would prefer to continue with your original order in the same length but in a non-homologated configuration then please do make us aware as soon as possible so that we may adjust this accordingly,

Wow, mein Bruder hat grad ne mail bekommen, dass V3 mini und V3 150mm vorerst NICHT MEHR VERKAUFT WERDEN und man sich für einen anderen entscheiden muss... Ich schick den Text, sobald ich ihn hab...

TLDR: Gibt kein V3 mini und V3 150mm auf absehbare Zeit, auch nicht wenn er schon bestellt war.

In der Mail wird nur der kulante Umgang mit laufenden Bestellungen angesprochen, ich frage mich was mit den Kunden passiert, die die Rohre schon fahren.

Eher nicht. Das Verhalten deutet eher darauf hin. Das die E-Nummer und das damit verbunde Gutachten verbrannt ist!

Mit richtig viel Glück werden die "legalen" mini's und 150er einfach von den Behörden beschlagnahmt und vernichtet.

Bestandsschutz kannste bei sowas vergessen. Da ja die E-Nummer mit entsprechenden Gutachten angezweifelt wird.

Und was ist jetzt mit dem GP1R 170mm. Der müsste dann aber noch Homologiert sein, Oder ?

Wird Garantiert das gleiche Problem haben. Sonst würden sie ja auf GP1R verweisen und nicht auf eine 200mm Variante.

Die können das so eh nicht stehen lassen. Was meinst was da los ist wenn die Kunden mit bereits verbauten Tüten für die Straße als wertlos da stehen

Ja klar das kann passieren aber dafür müssten sie bei einer Kontrolle aber auch erstmal die E-Nummer prüfen. Das habe ich bis jetzt aber noch nicht erlebt. Meist wird nur geschaut ob eine E-Nummer drauf ist und fertig .

Mir ist ein Fall bekannt wo genau das passiert bzw. geprüft wurde.

Ok, war ein pkw.

Gelaufen ist es dann so:

Auto angehalten, gesehen welcher darunter ist, Auto beschlagnahmt, Geräuschmessung von tüv, dann zu laut, Auto mit Anhänger abholen, umbauen, tüv neu, dann noch Strafe und so bezahlen.

Also zumindest in der Mail hört es sich so an, als würde die den Verkauf erst mal stoppen, bis das geklärt ist.

Es geht ja um die Messungen im Stand.

Was ganz was anderes ist als die Messung während der fahrt.

Also bis jz sehe ich nicht, dass die aktuelle E-Nummer ungültig ist.

Und sollte es so sein, müssten die alle verkauften zurück nehmen.
